Swiss Cyber Gate AG was founded in April 2015 as CargoServer AG by Oli Kessler who also established ncode solutions gmbh and ncode gmbh earlier. The software CargoServer originated from a ncode project and matured into a full product within 2013/2014 and was subsequently transferred to CargoServer AG. In 2018, the company name was changed to Swiss Cyber Gate AG.

Swiss Cyber Gate AG is 100% privately held.
